Sara is on a mission to banish these words from homes across the land: “You don’t understand me!” and “You never listen to me.” Sara found her own three teenagers wonderful, inspiring, baffling and exhausting. She knows, as all parents do, how frustrating and sometimes frightening it is to feel that you are not ‘getting through.’
Her experienced and supportive coaching will show you how to reduce arguments by making some simple changes to the way that you listen and communicate. This will encourage your teenager to really want to open up to you. Using these new skills, parents have said that they feel a much greater sense of connection and have far fewer door slamming moments.
Sara is a nature geek and loves walking, working with horses and jumping into the Thames for the occasional breathless dip.
Her distinction with Oxford Coaching and Mentoring (accredited by Oxford Brookes University 2012) was followed by further training with The Coaching Institute in California. She is an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aider.
